Katey Sagal and Son Jackson White Mourn Death of His Dad Jack White
In her 2017 memoir, Grace Notes: My Recollections, Katey wrote that she and Jack conceived Sarah on their wedding night in 1993. In 2004, four years after the pair divorced, the actress married Kurt Sutter, creator of Sons of Anarchy. The two share a daughter, Esmé, 17.
Katey's older daughter Sarah also posted a tribute to Jack after his death. "My dad. Huge, wild soul," the singer wrote on Instagram. "The loudest, tallest guy in the room, arms outstretched, singing, smiling, drumming on his dashboard, riding his motorcycle 100 miles in the mud and snow, hitchhiking across the country and telling us all about it."
Katey—who also shares daughter Sarah Grace White, 29, with her ex-husband—spoke out to grieve the loss as well.
"Beautiful Jackson and Beautiful Sarah," the Married... With Children alum commented. "I will always be grateful to your dad for you! Thank you Jack. Finally free."
Jack, who performed with the likes of Rick Springfield and Tina Turner, and Katey divorced in 2000 after a nine-year relationship.
In 1991, years before welcoming Jackson and Sarah, the actress became pregnant with her and Jack's first daughter and her pregnancy was written into Married... With Children. Tragically, their baby girl, Ruby, was delivered stillborn when Katey was seven months along. Her character Peg Bundy's pregnancy was later framed as a dream.

In her tribute, Sarah recalled how her dad taught her to listen to music loudly in a car with the windows down. "And thank you for loving me," she added. "Turns out it’s the only thing that matters. Jack White 1954-2024 and forever. He wanted to say thank you 'for all the chicks and all the money.’ Rock on, dad. We’ve got all your love and we’re taking it with us. I love you."
She continued, "He woke us up every day in nashville with a pot of coffee blasting the best music in the world. He picked me and my brother up for every dad’s weekend honking his car horn laughing, and waved goodbye to us until we got to the front door. He still did that every time I saw him."
