Snoop Dogg mourns death of younger brother Bing Worthington: 'You always made us laugh'

Snoop Dogg is saying goodbye to his brother Bing Worthington.

The businessman and rapper announced the death of his younger brother in three Instagram posts Friday.

"@badabing33 always made us laugh 💙🙏🏾😢 u bac with moms," Snoop Dogg said in one Instagram video. On another photo of Worthington and their mother Beverly Tate, who died in 2021. He wrote, "@badabing33 back wit momma."

USA TODAY has reached out to a rep for Snoop Dogg for further comment.

The California rapper, 52, is having a difficult season in his personal life after his 24-year-old daughter Cori Broadus suffered from a "severe stroke" earlier this year.

"She's doing a little bit better," the rapper, 52, told People at the Los Angeles premiere of "The Underdoggs" in January. Broadus, the 24-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus, also shared an update last month.

"They took me off heaprin tonight (blood thinner) & most likely can go home tomorrow," she captioned a video on her Instagram story from her hospital bed.

Snoop Dogg has a busy year ahead. Last month, he was named as a special correspondent for NBC's 2024 Summer Olympics coverage in Paris.

"Just call me OG," Snoop Dogg told reporters at the Television Critics Association Press Tour on Wednesday as he wore a USA Olympic Team sweat outfit with "Snoop Dogg" and NBC's famous peacock logo on the back. During the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Snoop Dogg and comedian Kevin Hart went viral with hilarious commentary on events such as equestrian dressage. But during the Paris games, he'll be on the ground for NBC host Mike Tirico and viewers.

"It's going to be me in the field, at events, moving through the city, doing the things that Snoop Dogg does. I plan on shaking it up, bringing my own flavor. It's the Olympics. We only get it every four years. I'm going to make the most of it," Snoop Dogg said.
